The In-Explainable Experience of VR

Our Skunkworks team has been fleshing out a new strategy for immersive training that includes VR, AR, and traditional 3D fluid environments. We invited one of our friends and colleagues to try VR for the first time and this was his expression the moment he took the goggles off.

In previous years we developed immersive training for Newmont, Boart Longyear, and others - and now we’re about to take that solution 10 steps further.

We still get excited when we see someone try VR for the first time. It is simply in-explainable. You have to experience it to understand it.

Here is a screen grab from one of our immersive training programs. IN this course, the learner is a first responder at the site of an incident. Their task is to secure the safety of the scene and identify risks and hazards. It’s part of our much larger Incident Investigation course.

In 2019, we’ll be working on some rather exciting projects across heavy industry.
